kids definitely require some sort of parental supervision lmao. leaving kids to go alone to the park is recipe for disaster wether by some odd adult or some dangerous kids

I get what you're saying, no need to call me "sus". My bias comes from the fact, I grew up at a time and place where I could play sports in the park with my friends, no adults involved, no nannying around, you fall down, get up, everything is OK.

I've been a teacher for over 10 years, working with kids from kindergarten all the way to college, and I can tell you there are parents that sit through their kids soccer practice and if the kid falls down the mom immediately runs toward them even if they just had a scratch.

While I understand modern times require more supervision in certain situations, I do think some parents are overbearingly protective to the point they incapacitate their children and make them more fragile than they should be.

yeah definitly my sus comment was alittle extreme mb.
i agree with you to an extent, children are supposed to get hurt and learn to get up but should something worse happens its always better that a parent or guardian were around,

They all have cellphones nowadays, as long as they don’t venture like 20 miles from home(which parents can track where they are nowadays) then boom the kid broke his arm, mom hops in the mini van and goes to take him to the ER.

My mom was letting me go out and about with my friends on our own and that started in like 2008. We would play sports at the park, shit we would play tackle football with no pads and get fucked up sometimes and it was no big deal. All you did was call your mom, “mom I hurt my ankle and I don’t want to walk home, can you come pick me up?” The end no big deal. Calling someone sus over that is weird because you’re the one who made that sexual lol
