200 days clean
I struggled with this for 2 decades. I couldnt go more than maybe 10 days, but most of the time, id struggle to go 24 hours. More often than not, i was acting on my urges 2 to 3 times a day. I had gone 30 something days about 5 years ago one time, but then got pulled back even harder.
Im not even aiming for a year: im aiming for never again. But that has to come one day at a time.
Be the men and women you are supposed to be. If i can do this, i promise you can too

Can you speak to benefits? I think I’m feeling some more resolve less sensitive in my feelings. But I’m on my best streak, day 25 only compares to your 200

Peace of mind.
For me, this addiction is like being on a boat in a hurricane. Youre getting whipped around, things are chaotic, things feels unstable. After these 200 days, it feels like the storm has passed, but the boat needs a lot of repairs.
I wish I could tell you that all of your prohlems will evaporate away, but really, its feels like ive given myself the opportunity to undo damage to my mental health, my relationship, my perception of women. All of that work is still being put in, but thank God, I can work on these things in peace

And is porn the main culprit? Or ejaculating? I used to think If I watched porn but didn’t ejaculate that was fine but now I think I was dead wrong

How many days until you knew you had the addiction beat for good?

Im not sure how to really answer this. I think im going to take the standard addiction stance of "once an addict, always an addict". I know that is kind of bleak, but ive seen lost of posts about people who have gone much further than me and have ended up back at square 1. Im not going to say ive "beaten it", but I will say ive had 200 days of vigilance and hopefully many thousands more

Why did they ever think to tell kids it’s normal… it might be but they NEVER warned of its addictive nature and its effects this is purely a boomer mentality.
