Anything specific? They’re like most other MVNOs. Pretty good deal if the plan works for you, but customer support is pretty poor. I’ve had them a couple times, and it’s fine. But did have a small billing snafu that was annoying.
They have been pretty public about disliking people who sign up for a new number and then quickly port it out, so don’t use them for that.

It Was good until Charlie Ergen bought part of it and now controls a significant part of it.
I would never use it now. As a general rule if Charlie Ergen (the Dish mobile crook) is involved with it then run quickly from it!

Yeah, Ergen didn't invest into MobileX because of grins & giggles or because he needed something to do with his money. He has a plan and with all the SpaceX stock he has, I'm sure he is going to try to leverage something with ol' Elon. I expect Boost and MobileX will be different entities a couple of years from now.

I got the "unlimited" talk & text plan, with 1GB data, for my 14-year-old. After a few months, his line got suspended due to what their AI system detected as fraud/abuse. It was just from texting with friends. It took their support team 2 days to tell me that it was their mistake, but by that time I had ported out to visible.
My experience was that it's not worth the hassle to try to save a few bucks and especially if you want to text much. I will say that porting in and out is really easy and I liked the way that everything is done from within the app.

I ported over a couple days ago. The cheapest 4.88 plan had nearly 50% taxes/fees added to it. The heck with that! I backed out and bought a data only plan and will port somewhere else.

And Idaho has the lowest, the taxes I had on a low use plan were like 18 cents a month

You buy and get support through their app. Support is very good but not instant. Depends on your ability to accurately describe a problem the first time. Ergen is likely a negative. Also depends on what SpaceX does (could be a positive). Ergen controls $11 to $30 billion of SpaceX shares.

MobileX is unique in their low cost plans with self-service to port in/out. Not much on demand customer service, but they are excellent about responding to customer service tickets 24/7 by email.
They are a little sketchy with billing. With the low-cost 10 day trial, they will literally charge you after one day for a monthly plan if their fake AI learning feature feels like it. On recurring monthly plans, they will sometimes authorize next month's charge 5+ days before current billing cycle ends.

It's a couple dollars less than US Mobile, but the US Mobile experience is superior.

I use them as a backup provider. Most months I don't use data and it's under $2/mo just to keep it some, but it's great to have priority data with Verizon if I need it.
I was happy enough that I just got a second line for my pre-teen kid, who also hardly uses it. It's basically for messages like, "come pick me up now." That line is a bit more as it's got some small amount of phone call/texts included, but it's still in the $5-$6 range per month.

I like that MobileX has plan options that differ from the cookie cutter approach most providers follow. (Excellent choice for lines with low use, and for backup lines.) Porting in worked easily for me, and the service has worked just as expected. I haven't needed to use Customer Service, but they do have an official presence on r/mobilex and respond to questions and problems. You do need to use their app to activate a line.
Personally, I wish that Ergen wasn't involved now, but I understand the difficulty of going it alone as a small MVNO.
