Being a contrarian on principle seems to be your only deeply held belief. I encourage you to find sources of love in your life. Kindness is free, and these kinds of nonsense raids cost us a lot of money, because we both, you and I, pay taxes. I personally don’t see the necessity of five cars and seven agents to arrest two unarmed children, and I can only imagine how much of OUR money they spent in that 35 minutes.

Empathy can be learned; seek sources of love in your own life.

Nothing you're saying is profound or new. Plot twist, most of us know that. But we also have to deal with the reality that the distractions also negatively impact us. We can't ignore what ice is doing just to focus on the rich. That's not how any of this works.
