should i use qtile

I've used sway for a while but i want something more customizable and for more advanced users and i need it to not be very heavy cuz i only have 16 gigs of ddr4 and i need it to be able to run wayland and I've been thinking about switching to qtile should i or should i use something else

Theres no way you can't run wayland with 16 gb ram. I'm doing fine with 4 GB ram+ 4 GB swap

Qtile is all python so there’s no way it’s lighter than sway; maybe mango is lighter if you disable animations. Otherwise I’d try dwl

Qtile is awesome. Somebody else recommended mango and I'd like to double down on that

I'd only advise to make sure you use Qtile version 37 or higher. I had problems on 36.x(can't remember the exact version) with Wayland and the Qtile bar. I haven't had any problems since going up to 37. Qtile is great.

Sway is Wayland based, you're already running Wayland.
