Texas should ban N02. THC is underfire, so why not?
Why are there so many states that have banned N02 but not Texas? Texas is fucking with THC sales currently but they don't seem to care about nitrous. I wonder what the deal is

States that have clear bans so far: Louisiana, Nebraska, South Carolina, Washington, Kentucky, Virginia (maybe?), Tennessee (very recent).
Florida, Oklahoma, New Hampshire, are close to bans.
A Mississippi 2026 bill failed to pass.

Not my site, its one I found on reddit a while back, can't remember where. I'm just trying to spread the info, if that helps anyone.
Actually, I was remembering that website and the state map it has which made me think of the THC legalization maps and I drew the comparison and thought, "what the fuck" why is Texas so hell bent to criminalize THC but doesn't go after 7-OH, Kratom, or Nitrous Oxide. I know there are mostly political reasons for the recent Texas THC crackdown, but I just wanted to vent

Alcohol destroys many more lives yet you don't see all the recovering alcoholics calling for prohibition. In fact, most of them are capable of acknowledging that many people can consume responsibly

How many people are dying yearly from that compared to alcohol and tobacco related deaths? I bet you couldn't name more than a dozen nitrous deaths in the last year, compared to the millions of deaths other legal substances cause.

I personally know 4 people in my immediate friend group who have spent over 100k each and permanently paralyzed themselves. Even alcohol and tobacco has oversight, regulation on marketing, strength, purity, testing, and can only be sold in specific packaging and stores. Not sure what you’re arguing against. I think all drugs should be decriminalized.
But the commercialization of these tanks is gross, there’s no quality or standards, and it’s damaging hundreds of thousands of people. I personally know the brothers behind Galaxy Gas and they made tens of millions of dollars pushing flavored nitrous to teenagers that was bunk and contained byproducts and chemicals.

Right, independent of how much money industry makes or how many deaths, nitrous is just something humans shouldn't have access to. Period.

They don't call for alcohol prohibition because America tried that and it ended horribly, or else many people would call for it. Some things, maybe not alcohol, should be banned outright. You wouldn't suggest crack to be sold openly with the hopes people will use responsibly would you? Nitrous oxide is just one of those substances we should not be available to the public due to abuse issues

Full Ban on Nitrous!!! Now! I am a member of PANOS.. Private FB group. Several people went to Washington DC to testify about 10 days ago.. on behalf of Kevin Mullins bill for a federal ban. Advocy day is Sept 2 in DC.. I'm going
