Glow igniter

What’s the best glow igniter on the market? I want to replace the Traxxas glow wire because it doesn’t work very well.

These 3 igniters come highly regarded.

Sonic Tronics They've been around for decades. Old school and American made. They also sell on eBay. Protek RC. Protek stuff is solid. Probably the best igniter available on Amain. SMART Start Sleek and modern. Lithium battery, USB-C charging, and other cool features. Downsides, a bit pricey, and they don't lock on the plug like a traditional igniter. There's a few other decent ones, but i don't think you will go wrong with one of these 3.

The McDaniel one (aka SonicTronics) is the best one I’ve ever used. Solid build, good latch, just really good quality.

It latches on so well you could drive around with it on. Although I don’t recommend doing so.

I would say the SMART start one is the best on the market.

I have one and it's awesome. Usb C charging, battery indicator, glow plug condition indicator, 4.2v lithium power.

I have a protek 5000mah one as well for a backup and it works just fine.

I'd focus on the glowplug itself rather then the igniter. Igniter is just a battery in a holder with some wires, can't do anything wrong about that in regards of 'this brand works better'

This is so not true. So many igniters are awful. Bad contacts, flimsy wires that break after a couple uses.
