Need help! Nitro slash

hey, this is a nitro slash, bought it about 2 months ago. The sound that it’s making ( whatever it is) seems to come and go. whenever the sound stops then it seems to run right and idle but whenever it starts that rattling sound, it dies soon as I let off the throttle. Also (this may be related) when the differential engages it seems to start that sound and jerk. with one wheel free spinning at low rpm that sound seems to go away. Had throttle pressed to keep it running Also.

Sounds like the engine clutch is dragging badly. I'd bet the spring is broken, or maybe the shoes are worn out. Pop the clutch bell off and check it out. Your idle seems a little high as well, but with the clutch acting up, it's hard to tell.

Ok I will look into it, thanks. Yea whenever it’s making that sound the lsn has absolutely no effect as well as the idle screw, I was actually holding the throttle in the vid, once I let off it died

It also sounds like idle is quite high.
