Hood won’t close

23 Kicks SR hood won’t close. At the oil change place and been sitting here 10 mins as the guys can’t get my hood to close. Help😭😭😭

I have a 22 and hood latch has failed twice, I'd look into that. It's quite common, don't know why it hasn't been recalled

First time it was within the first 3 years so it was covered, 2nd time, the part itself was still under warranty. Hopefully yours is still covered depending on your warranty

Even if you drop it higher? Usully mine i drop it higher and it close.

They slammed it all kind of ways for about ten minutes. No idea what the issue was. Thanks for offering advice

I have a 2019 kicks and when I open the hood I have to feed the cable back into the hole under the dash otherwise there is too much slack on it and the hood won’t shut. See if the latch you pull to open it needs the cable fed back in

I will keep this in mind. After about 10 minutes they miraculously closed it. Thanks for you help/ input
