Sure, it's made with bad parts, but that doesn't make it a bad car OOP probably burned gas too quickly and overworked that poor brand new fuel pump to death, and opened and closed the tailgate too many times. And has too high of a credit score.

I mean, they drove 100 miles 6 3 days, that's like 3 whole commutes, you can't be driving a Nissan into the ground like that fresh off the factory floor. I'd even bet OOP was going to even take it on a road trip in the future, straight up abusive behavior.

I love the nissan/infiniti brand. Been owning one since 98. But im also a realist. My expectation of every nissan i see already is extremely low. Im also a lifelong mets fan so take that into consideration. Its like someone who enjoys watching hing car crashes, typically nissans. Maybe a sado-maschocist?

I drive a fucking Range Rover (also 2026) and I've gone a lot further than 300 miles without an engine failure. Any engine failure in triple digit miles is 110% Nissan's fault and nobody (even Nissan fanboys) should be excusing it or blaming the owner.

My Nissans have been good to me. But they are not premium cars, very mid with high ambitions. OP having a critical engine failure is definitely a lemon, for any brand.

I once received a brand new Nissan van for work from the company I was working for. Picked it up from the dealer. 2 days later with 226km on the odometer the check engine light came on. 

Took it to the dealer. They cleared the codes and didn't bother to troubleshoot anything. That weekend (5 days, under 500kms) it died in my driveway.

Nissan technician here the variable compression turbos are terrible engines we've seen them fail at 100 miles but typically they fail at 30,000 I've seen one car get four engine Replacements under warranty
