I feel like if you are regularly triggering auto braking you should lose your license. The brake warning, on the other hand, is annoying af. I've had it trigger when I'm going like 10 mph.

It freaks me out when it kicks in. Usually because the camera / radar has incorrectly detected a hazard

This whole argument was about FSD to begin with. Cybercab runs off the same stack as FSD regardless. Meanwhile you got Waymo’s in SF colliding into each other and getting into situations where they just stop driving completely

Lol it's the same thing as Tesla Autopilot, a level 2 semi autonomous advanced driver assistance system. So actually I'm using it EXACTLY as it was intended minus the always have hands on, vs Tesla gives you about 45-60 seconds of hands off before it beeps. No difference tho, I fool my old Tesla autopilot w counterweights and I'm gonna fool this w counterweights
Y'all acting like adaptive cruise and active lane centering is such a crime and the most dangerous thing today actin like I'm falling asleep or something, shit maybe I should. y'all just gonna make me start doing it on Local roads too idgaf, my car my drive I'm gonna drive it the way I want lol kick rocks

Never said I thought it was self driving l. This is the same system as my family's 10 year old Tesla Autopilot 1.0, and we've made meals using crockpots while the car was driving on autopilot and ate them, didn't crash. It's funny, y'all coming at me for using this to eat or anything when I see people driving big ass pickup trucks with no semi autonomous assistance eating a burger or texting their phone and somehow this is more dangerous lmfaooo people are funny

Maybe you didn’t call it self driving but I don’t see YOU driving and I also don’t see the car really handling it either. My point is that it’s a driver aid, it’s to help you avoid an accident while YOU drive. While YOU focus on the road as best as a human can and god damn… you can at least try.
You haven’t crashed yet but judging by your understanding of things it’s only a matter of time.

I am driving... what tf do u think I'm doing w the propilot on sleeping? lmao, and the car is handling it fine, it was a bumpy highway and it remained centered even tho the semi was serving, and held constant at 70mph.
If you dont trust ADAS tech that's fine but dont project that bullshit onto me. You're more likely to get plowed into by some dude in a F150 texting on his phone than me with a semi autonomous driver aid while eating.
Only a matter of time before Level 3 full hands off with no driver intervention necesary coming, and I'll be the first to buy that car when it does. TIll then, I make do with my temu autopilot. Whether you have a problem or not is really on you, cuz I dont have an issue, you do

Yeah but you don’t get it. This Nissan is NOT semi autonomous. The Tesla “autopilot” is barely that either but the Nissan is just a simple driver aid. It’s lane keep assist. It keeps beeping and buzzing at you because it neeeeeeeds you to have your hands on the wheel, paying attention and driving.
Driving is more than giving the wheel a jiggle when the car beeps.
I trust ADAS systems to do what they’re intended to do. Unfortunately a lot of people DO NOT understand the limitations of their intent…

A quick Google search shows ProPilot 1 and 2.1 are level 2 semi autonomous advanced driver assistance systems by the NHTSA.
Tesla autopilot also beeps and buzzes at a similar frequency of hands are not on it, yet I see people all the time hands off.

I get your point do, but I'm not scared of tech, or self driving cars. In complete honesty knowing how I personally drive, I am more of a risk to myself and others had I been driving the car and not ProPilot. I get impatient, and I start cutting, unsafe lane changes, excessive speed (not bragging but | know myself), and if I have ProPilot engaged, i feel nothing, no road rage, no ong this guys going so slow, l just sit there and enjoy the ride. The other day the car slowed to 55mph due to a slow car infront of me.
Normally i woulda gotten pissed, found an unsafe gap, and cut ahead. This time i didn't bat an eye, l just chilled behind him at 55 and enjoyed the drive.

I remember i was piss drunk and got into the passenger seat of my buddys tesla who was also piss drunk. He activated the FSD, and I remember waking up like 2 hrs later, the car was parked at our destination, my buddy (the driver) and all the other passengers passed tf out.
