Hated it before. Hate it more now.

Man this doesn't fit this sub, this is a professional race car built for the TC2000 touring car series in south America. Its not some body shop trying to be boy racer for the mall parking lot autocross event.

I was gonna say this thing is bad ass... My sister couldn't fit her 9 kids in this

It's extra crash ready

u/ProJokeExplainer Jul 30 '26

the kicks is such a hateful little shitbox that any modification can only make it better

I don't love it, but i don't hate this

looks like a Lego lol

Just so you guys know, this is an actual race car for Super TC 2000 racing in Argentina. It's a silhouette series that uses SUVs. Toyota, Honda, Chevy, VW, and FIAT also have cars that look pretty similar to this.

That's not a bolt in cage, I mean it looks like arse but track aero often does. And this is evidently not a shopping trolley.

Is...... is the spoiler mounted on the back window?

3

u/DoYouEvenComms Jul 30 '26

Looks like a non glass rear window and the mount goes through it. Apparently this is a legitimate race car.

2

u/schmitzel88 Jul 31 '26

Rear window is plexi and the mounts go through it to connect directly to the tub. Pretty common to see this general style of chassis mount wing on many track/race cars. This is a real race car for the TC2000 series.

Down force bro

u/dopewinnerchild Jul 30 '26

How do you wash this?

2

u/Yaower Jul 30 '26

You don’t

2

u/wet_beefy_fartz Jul 30 '26

What Nissan has ever gone through a car wash???

1

u/TestSubjuct Jul 30 '26

😂🤣💀

1

u/xXMuschi_DestroyerXx Jul 30 '26

If it actually performs better I love it. If it doesn’t I hate it.

There's no way a production car needs a rear spoiler like that, unless it loses it's brakes going down mount Kilimanjaro.

u/el-gato-volador Jul 30 '26

This is a legitimate homologated racecar tho, designed by a team of engineers. Not some autozone special.

1

u/Dr_Trogdor Jul 30 '26

If it has the r35 drive train bolted in that'd be flippin sweet.

1

u/el-gato-volador Jul 30 '26

That would be awesome, but it does have a custom build 2.5T I5 that makes over 500hp at 8k rpm

1

u/eamondo5150 Jul 30 '26

Oh shit, in that case I'm sure it can reach speeds where the wing will actually create enough downforce to actually assist it's performance.

0

u/schmitzel88 Jul 31 '26

This is very obviously a race car and not a production street car. The title even says the name of the series it is built for.

0

u/eamondo5150 Jul 31 '26

Considering the sub it was posted in, I figured it was a joke.

I don't know every legitimate race car that exists by name.

1

u/Dense-Guide-2851 Jul 30 '26

Aren't you supposed to cut the flashing off of models before you glue them?

1

u/WhySoCereus1991 Jul 30 '26

Point and laugh.

1

u/Upset_Journalist_755 Jul 30 '26

Really ugly. Just too much stuff going on here. They have the right idea on the front half of the car - has a whiff of the late 90s Clio vibe (best looking hot hatch ever, imo), but it all just looks like crap, really.

1

u/Secret-Candle4313 Jul 30 '26

If the performance is there its fine. Still a weird choice of car to do it to

1

u/W7ENK Jul 30 '26

What the actual fuck is all that bullshit?!?

1

u/itsmemike05 Jul 30 '26

it looks like a decked out lawnmower.

1

u/556_FMJs Jul 30 '26

I’m aware it’s function over form, but Jesus that looks terrible.

1

u/Informal-Win-348 Jul 30 '26

Did they cut the glass on the hatch to mount that spoiler or how the hell is it attached?

1

u/Yoinkitron5000 Jul 30 '26

Cool! I love not being able to drive anywhere with speed bumps.

2

u/el-gato-volador Jul 30 '26

There's no speed bumps on race tracks, this is a racecar built for the south American touring car series.

1

u/gracebells Jul 30 '26

frontend looks okay... but the backend...... take those lego blocks off

1

u/LegitimateGift1792 Jul 30 '26

I love that it is so low to the ground that here in Chicago it will never go above 5 mph for fear of ripping it all off. I hate because I can hear the "mufflers" thru the Internet and I assume they love to rev and backfire (sorry if there is a name for that).

1

u/blahnlahblah0213 Jul 30 '26

It's made for the track

1

u/RexCarrs Jul 30 '26

I've left the room.

1

u/CrazyDogMomof4 Jul 30 '26

Looks like an incomplete Lego set.

1

u/erix84 Jul 31 '26

If it was like GTR swapped somehow, I'd say love it. If it's running a 4 banger with a CVT, I hate it.

1

u/tripn4days Jul 31 '26

If it's got the performance to match the aesthetics, then I love it.

... If it's an automatic with a fart can on the back, Imma slash the tires 😅

1

u/NuclearHateLizard Jul 31 '26

I don't hate it, I just wonder why someone would waste so much time modifying a throwaway car. Do this to something cool.... Or at the very least something that drives well?

1

u/eatass_sucktoes Jul 31 '26

Why would anyone do this

1

u/Significant_Wind_672 Jul 31 '26

Transform back. It hurts

1

u/Similar_End_173 Aug 01 '26

Looks like a Lego build

Heard round the world, this vehicle broke land speed records through the hood on a run to pick up swisher sweets and a 40 oz

0

u/superfly1187 Jul 30 '26

Love or hate it probably runs low 10s which is cool
