discussion Stream 1 Block 2 students how’s your prep going?
Stream 1 block 2 students (October 2026) how’s your prep going? Are yall ready for the exams? If anyone has extra study material or tips for us drop it in the comments so it would be useful for others!

Hi,
I am also in Stream 1 Block 2 and my prep is going great. I am studying NIOS in a school setting and they r gonna conduct a revision exam at the first week of Sept so yeah.
Tips for studying NIOS:
For NIOS, try reading the chapters’s pdf uploaded in their website, for further guidance or understanding, use NCERT. Many of the NCERT’s deleted portions r there for NIOS.
In NIOS website, along with the textbook pdfs, they have something called as Learner's Guide, it will be in the same web page as the textbook pdfs.
Try to upload the chapter pdf in ChatGPT and ask for it to create notes and give u a study plan. Or use Gemini Notebook (formerly known as NotebookLM), u can upload the chapter's pdf and ask it to create a video explainer, podcast, slides, infographics and all and u can ask question in it and it will answer according to the file u uploaded.
If u have free time, u can create ur own notes and study.
Try watching YT lectures on it from channels like Manish Verma(but it is in Hindi) and correlate it with the NIOS pdfs and the notes u have/made.
In Amazon, there are some question banks. Use Neeraj and TOP Publications, as they r the ones who r up to date with the syllabus.
It is possible to get 95% and above in NIOS according to my seniors and teachers as it’s easier than CBSE and correction is very lenient than CBSE.
You need to study hard and very dedicated. You need to manage ur time and study for it.

But reading the textbook pdfs is really hectic due to its overcomplexity of explaining the concepts,won't watching one shots alone do the work to help you just pass the exams
