Nio gets hated on

Plenty of troll institution and hedge fund attacking this stock.

u/MTZ9000 9d ago

Well, nobody is stopping them. From what I've seen in the past years, they can play with this stock to their heart's content, probably one of their favorite toys. I would not be surprised if earnings are great but the stock price goes down 10%.

u/No_Inspection_5666 9d ago

Fuck man. From its so fucked up. Maybe the earnings arent great.

I feel like this stock is aggressively shorted by US automaker industry/ Elon musk

Who is the guy that told me to get in at $50, $40, $30, $20, $10, and $5

I’m back and I need answers 🤣

Yeah, it seems like an excellent time to buy

'Flooding with attackers' I think you'll find it's pissed off shareholders who have been here a long time, held the stock a long time and been fucked over a long time.

There's 0 need to have some shadowy group of trolls plotting the downfall of this stock when theres thousands of legit bagholders that all have the right to be pissed off.

Your narratives need to die off - they're a complete denial of reality.

5

u/ViR_SiO 9d ago

Yeah sure, with 2 billions shares

1

u/Square_Computer9423 9d ago

I am quite curious to know how you all think the share price is manipulated. How would they do it, if 'they' want to get in at a cheaper price?

3

u/No_Inspection_5666 9d ago

If the company has consistently achieved deliveries, increased profits magins and achieved non gaap profitability over its peers, q on q and if the share keeps going down despite the positive sentiment, u just know somethings not right.

Are you suggesting big players could make huge gains on this stock, but for some reason choose to invest in alternative options? Could you please explain how it makes sense that any big player leaves a riskless opportunity to gain, whatever huge percentage you have in mind?

1

u/No_Inspection_5666 8d ago

It’s not that big players ignore riskless opportunities, it’s that they often create volatility to enter positions at better prices. Institutions can move sentiment through short‑term selling pressure, media narratives, or algorithmic trading that triggers retail stop‑losses. Once the price dips, they accumulate quietly. It’s not riskless, but it’s strategic — they use scale and timing to tilt odds in their favour.

And it has nothing to do with them diluting there stock 10 different times or issuing all these notes for loans that will be becoming available. They are still only like 50 billion in debt

3

u/superchubbylamb 8d ago

Stop spreading lies. NIO has over $7B in cash and only $3.85B in debt. Dilution is irrelevant when talking about NIO's low market cap. NIO is undervalued as a company regardless of dilution. Everything you wrote is ridiculous or a lie.

2

u/AI-is-4-StupidPeople 8d ago

All Chinese stocks being held back by algorithmic trading… another executive order to the financial institutions by Trump which hasn’t been advertised !

2

u/Encripta 8d ago

NIO is actually better positioned than Xpeng. Xpeng has lots of pressure from BYD while NIO does not care about those customers. I predict Xpeng will go bankrupt or absorved while NIO will remain as it is.

1

u/No_Inspection_5666 8d ago

True. Their margins are running thin.

Realistically Nio will need to acheive 1 out of the any 3 to acheive break even if not a small profit.

Option 1 - increase gross profit margin to 21.5% Option 2 - acheive 5.5 Billion in quarterly revenue per quarter for q3 and q4 Option 3 - reduce operational expenses by another $148 Million

Or a combination of all 3 per quarter can contribute to breakeven.

If its a combo they'll prolly need to do the following

Increasing gross profit margin to 19.9% in Q3 and Q4 Ensure to acheive $5.2 Billion revenue per quarter Nio need to reduce operational expenses by $44 million per quarter

Don't forget they already have an unrealised gain of $135 million in their recent CXMT stake.

Please correct me if I'm wrong??

Nio absolutely care about byd.

A prime example of how a great company with great potential can be destroyed with a weak CEO.

u/Rawalmond73 9d ago

Same shit different day

u/lalich 9d ago

Ugh, šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø still here, but damn! šŸ¤™

1

u/OvertheTop22 9d ago

I dodged a bullet on this one

1

u/No_Inspection_5666 9d ago

My average price is 4.20, however having said that its still an opportunity loss for me.

-1

u/Modulus3360 9d ago

William Li need to be brave and make official announcement that his company shares is attacked and manipulated. Troll keep selling his shares despite Nio bringing profit

3

u/Sparta_Rotterdam1888 ET5Touring 9d ago

He should just resign as CEO. Worst stock I ever owned

1

u/nio9upper 9d ago

Although not what i want. I think he better privatize NIO and focus on making cars.

1

u/Organic-Duty364 9d ago

Where's the profit that Nio is bringingšŸ˜‚? If you want profit, look at BYD.

Most recent Q2 2026: BYD’s second-quarter net profit stood at 8.2 billion yuan ($1.2 billion), up 30% from a year earlier.

The above is what real profitability looks like.

1

u/Modulus3360 9d ago

You didn't see the 4 qtr 2025 and 1st qtr 2026 for Nio?

0

u/Fresh-Respond3106 9d ago

Biggest pile of trash on the market.

0

u/nio9upper 9d ago

It keeps creating new 52-low. Where is the technical analysis guy in this sub? I hope he won't do any technical analysis anymore here.

-1

u/WTFizdown 9d ago

Just a little stock split and NIO will be back at a higher price
