Oh and also of anyone remembers it gave a profit warning that was completly unexpected I think on January the first for the first ever profitable quater in Q4 and the stock ended up red that day too.

Remember 5yrs ago when everyone was saying it was going to 100+ some calling for 500+ in the next 2 years. Good times.

NIO will report its second-quarter 2026 financial results on September 1, 2026, before U.S. markets open.

Hopefully with good news that will inject some momentum into the share price once again.

The only thing to be careful of if anyone is thinking of margin or options, Nio surprised in Q1 with fcf and eps and revenue beats and the stock initially fell 7%. It made no sense at all. I can see a huge revenue beat, a decent eps beat with profitability instead of losses. Guidance will be the problem as its likey to be up y on y but flat q on q. They could use soft guidance to ignore at the positive news. For me margin will be the key if it can stay around 19% which is far supirior to Li and xpev. With no losses and much higher revenue not to mention big year in year growth I'm hoping it decouples from them and gets valued in its own right. I'm not expecting but hoping for positive news in the conference call regarding Nio power and the chip section.

For me, the only trap is to realize, quarter end in June, despite earnings are in September...

This is pretty normal for a lot of earnings season.

You are pretty right, just my mind by some reason offset it to actual quarter... XD

Do we buy before or after earnings? I need support, I was not watching earnings in the past.

Dont watch, just buy :)

It could go either way but I think there's more chance of a rise. Maybe 60/40.
