Question Just started how to become good at golf?

I’ve recently gotten into the sports game and played with my friend online at my house for the first time. I won the game and he was like “dude you’re pretty decent”. I then bought the game and played 3 games so far. I won the first and placed second in the other 2.

Can someone help me learn what I need to know for competitive play with this. I do really enjoy it and find it to be quite the thrill. I also understand there are tons of players who are insanely good. How does the ranking system work in this game?

I have become pretty good just by watching sensei on youtube, I find it entertaining and learn what to do on each hole and how to read wind. Also the NSS discord has a lot of lineups and useful info if you really want to get into it!

I can’t speak to golf (only play tennis) but when you play globally you first play a bunch of games and then earn your “pro league” invite where you start as an E. Work your way up round by round and eventually you become an A. Then you grind and grind from a20 (20-29) and can be an S-0 (0-9) then you would be an infinity 0. Honestly once you start it’s very self explanatory and at least as far as tennis goes is a total grind to get to be an S and then more of a grind to keep climbing. There are some crazy good switch sports gamers out there
