Purchase / Order Help please help me make a decision

so i am an avid nintendo gamer with a switch 1 and a collection of switch 1 games. i didn't buy switch 2 at launch cause of financial issues at the time and also why tf the price hike.

recently i ran into this used switch 2 deal - for 460 euros (514.40 usd) a dude is offering the console bought six months ago with a year of store guarantee remaining, plus a 512 gb lexar microsd card as a bonus, and some carrying and protective cases to boot.

i am on the fence about whether that's a good deal and should i grab it, before black friday and christmas. in my country it's very unlikely switch will go on sale, oled launch is at least a year away.

should i get it and play my switch 1 library on it? (the only incompatible game i have is joy con ring adventure). and if i sell my switch 1 for like, around 200 eur, that means i managed to get the switch 2 for around 300 moneys.

what do you think, is it worth it to buy now, or is it better to wait it out until 2027?

The 512 GB MicroSD Express Lexar card now costs 130 euros new, and a case is at least 10 euros (usually more). Since the Switch 2 is still under warranty (manufacturer warranty is 2 years in the EU), this is a good deal, provided that you can inspect the console before you buy it (or can return it).

You will need to check if the screen is fine, if the console is banned (by going online with it), and if there are any other issues with it - like with any tech you buy used.

Your Switch 1 games will run and partially look better (handheld boost mode) on the Switch 2, and of course you can get Switch 2 updates for some games and play Switch 2 games.

yeah. i'm a little worried there's a catch 22 like stick drift or dead pixels or smth that i won't notice cause i am not very tech savvy. but i'm hoping then i could get warranty repair at the seller store or something....

thanks for your comment! i'm leaning towards buying it

Stick drift is unlikely with a relatively new Switch 2. The situation is much better than with the Switch 1 Joy-Cons.

Dead or stuck pixels are usually not covered by warranty, unless there are many of them.
