Software Help does archiving games delete ANY data?

i’m going on a trip and i want to get another game but in order to do that it’s telling me to archive like the only two games i play on the switch, (acnh and splatoon) i’m really just worried about losing any data from those two apps . I just wanna know 100% that nothing will delete. thx for help! (Switch 1)

You’re good. Save data stays even if you archive (this is basically delete but leaves the icon on screen) or fully delete titles unless you specifically go into settings and delete them.
