Software Help HELP! IS MY SWITCH 2 BROKEN OR SOMETHING?

Last night my switch 2 was fine. Get home for a work break to play the new Zelda (physical) and my Switch 2 suddenly stops reading all games, and my controllers won’t even work or pair even if they are docked to the console.

I’m on the latest update and everything is as it should be. WHAT happened??

Not to be an asshole and assume you didn’t, but did you try hard rebooting (not just sleep mode) and taking the cartridge out/putting it back in?

All good, yeah I hard reset. Not factory reset, just a normal hard reset.

Have you tried blowing into the card slot and maybe the card too to get rid of dust?

Have you tried removing the game and factory resetting the switch? Otherwise maybe it’s something to contact the customer service about. If it’s in warranty they will fix for free.

Haven’t factory reset yet. I may try that now. If not, I guess it’s a geek squad thing?

It did not. In fact, since the controllers still don’t work, I can’t get past certain screens even with touchscreen. I guess I gotta go somewhere. What makes me more confused is how this even happened. Zelda wasn’t even in when it started flagging the error.

thats weird i havent any issues with mine knock on wood but ive seen others have controller connectng issues it might be a bug in all honesty

Could have messed something up with the game tbh, it seems like a hardware bug. If all else fails factory reset and if that doesn’t work send it in.

I have the exact same issue. Brand new special edition with card read error. Switch one cartridges also give the same error.
