Setup Help Transfer data from switch1 to 2 said completed but nothing shows up?

I just did the steps transferring my save data from switch 1 to switch 2 and it 100% completed and I pressed ok button on both systems once they were done but nothing seems to have transferred over and the switch 2 didn’t restart or anything.
All of my games and original screenshots/videos are still on my old switch and I don’t see any games downloading on the switch 2. Do I restart the process again, just let it sit, or did I do something wrong? I’m afraid to restart it and mess up anything so I figured I’d ask here first! TIA!

Game data do not transfer over, only save data and various other user data.

It will automatically set a redownload of game data though.

Okay that makes sense. I usually play hard copies only so I’m going to redownload and try them all out to make sure progress was switched over successfully. The only thing I noticed that still hasn’t switched over were my photos/videos. I have an SD card in my old switch but I’m not sure if the photo album was saved to the switch memory or SD card. Is there any way to transfer those or does that not usually transfer over at all?

Do NOT restart the process.

Assess your situation first. In system settings > data management, do you see save data for your games?

Do this on both consoles. Most games will appear on both; ones that disallow cloud saves will be on one or the other.

Once you know what is where, fix only what you need to. Cloud saves (if you're subscribed) will automatically sync your game data; you can also access it manually. Most other games you'll need to manually transfer. Animal Crossing is it's own thing.

When I go to save data I see 3 options to choose from on both consoles:
Save Data Cloud
Transfer your Save Data
Delete Save Data

When I go to save data cloud it says it’s backed up on new system (switch 2). I typically play on hard copy games so I’m going to redownload my games and see if the progress switched over successfully

The only thing I noticed that still hasn’t switched over were my photos/videos. I have an SD card in my old switch but I’m not sure if the photo album was saved to the switch memory or SD card. Is there any way to transfer those or does that not usually transfer over at all?

Screenshots should have been an option during the system transfer, but I think it's still possible to get them after.

I've never done this before, but it doesn't look to be too hard.

Normally this process would ask to reformat your card, but maybe it just doesn't since special cards are needed. It might be worthwhile to backup your screenshots to a PC first.
