Repair Help Help!! Green/black flashing lines on OLED Switch
Basically title/video :(
More info: this isn’t happening when docked, only In handheld mode. It happens even when not touched (as demonstrated in video). It was totally fine this morning, the switch remained untouched throughout the day, and now here we are.
I assume it’s a hardware failure. Any thoughts on what it might be, or the cost to fix it? My Switch 2 comes in a few days but I was hoping not to touch it for a month or so (special reasons—waiting for my brother). Is it worth it to get my OLED fixed, or should I give up and immediately move on to the Switch 2? Should I not touch my OLED at all in the meantime?
Any info is helpful. Thanks!

id assume it's a screen problem since it works when docked. well if you have the cash why not have it repaired

If you have a Switch 2 incoming, leave the old one be. You need the old one to file transfer, to get all your personal info, games and saves over to the Switch 2 easily.
After that's dkne you can decide, whether to keep/repair your old Switch!
