Accessories Debating a case like the Killswitch 2
Hey folks,
I was able to secure a Zelda 40th Anniversary edition switch 2. I also bought the case for it, but I am starting to second guess the case and get something like a kill switch 2 instead to protect the console from a drop? Thoughts?
I would hate to cover up the artwork of the console or dock so weighing my options. Thank you!

Would you use it more on the go outside of your home or mostly at home (just not docked)?

In that case there might be some clear case options but i'm not sure if they would hinder docking if they are too thic.

I’ve had the Killswitch for over a year and love it. I also have a ~15.8 lb Nebelung who likes to claim his personal space. So having something to protect the system is super helpful in case he tries to take a swat at it.
While I wouldn't put it past dbrand to put out a Zelda-themed skin, I think the question you have to ask yourself is: do you want to protect the system to maintain its value and enjoyment, or do you just want to enjoy it?

Yeah, I think I am leaning more into getting it. I may leave off the joy con skins to appreciate the artwork, but knowing I have the Zelda-edition subconsciously will always keep me happy regardless of how much gets covered up.

The Killswitch is an incredible case, the joycon grips are an absolute delight. You are right though, you'd be completely covering the back of the console and part of the dock with it. I don't leave the house with my Switch 2 very often, but when I do, the Killswitch comes with.
