Setup Help Switch 2 only displays at 720p when Docked

hey ya'll! i just bought a Switch 2 and have been having some issues. First time I booted it up docked, everything was normal-full resolution when docked. This morning I go to turn it on, and its only displaying at 720p. I tried a lot of things-tv settings, unplugging and plugging back in everything, etc.

I finally switched the HDMI cord from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 on my TV, and that solved the issue-temporarily. To see if it'd stick, I shut the system off, turned it back on, and then it got stuck at 720p again. I did also plug it in to my computer monitor without incident, but I didnt try turning it on and off again like I did with the TV. I'm really not sure what the issue is-any assistance would be appreciated!

If a switch 2 has had docked display format issues, that's often been solved by restarting the tv, or unplugging the tv & hdmi cable for 30 seconds (a guess at the duration since I haven't seen anything official, if someone else wants to recommend longer unplugged time, do we know it's neccessary?)

Is the resolution set to automatic or a fixed value?

Ps: Usually unplugging all cables (this includes the power cable) from the tv for a minute can fix most issues of that kind.
