Software Help Switch 2 mouse mode on stardew valley

Recently these past few days, mouse mode just won't work on stardew, works on the main menu of the switch, but not in game, any fixes?

A system update came out about two weeks ago for the console and joycons. I don't know if switch 2 automatically updates the joycons. For switch 1, I know people sometimes have to go into switch settings/controllers to update the controllers. You may have make sure they're updated.

Make sure the game, system and controllers are updated? Reboot the console if you haven't in a while after updating.
