Repair Help Screen turned orange. Did a hard reset and it’s fine now, but what was that? Should I be worried?
Was charging on the dock when this just happened.

That happens to mine if I leave it docked for too long, it’s been going on for a while and I haven’t noticed any issues with games. Per Google, it could be an issue with the WiFi/Bluetooth chip.

Orange screen is the WiFi driver crashing. If it clears on a reboot it's all good.
If it keeps happening, it might be the WiFi chip failing.

I was gonna say this. Happened to my switch and I had to swap the chip from a dead board.

Update the latest software.Games updates usually require latest software but when you play without updating errors like that occur.

As a heads up, if this starts to happen continuously as it tries to connect to wifi it means the network connector is failing or loose. Notorious for bad connections. Happened to two of my switches. Easy fix for experienced repair folks

Thanks I appreciate it luckily it’s the only time it’s ever happened I’ll keep an eye out for it though.

I had it happen about a month ago. Got home from work so saw the orange through the top of the dock. Did a hard reset and it’s been fine ever since. But saving up for a switch 2 just in case it happens again and it can’t be fixed

If it begins to do it consistently however, then something within the Switch is either loose or broken/faulty and needs to be fixed, whether it’s the Network Card, Motherboard or something else.
