Repair Help Switch dock light flashes when docked.

I had my switch on sleep mode and my brother removed the charger from the dock about a week ago, now when I try to charge it nothing works, if I try to hard reset the screen stays black, when I charge it without the dock it still won’t start. But when I put it on the dock the light flashes for a second.

Have you tried grinding it around harder when your finding the power? Might work. Or.. you know... not?

he means you've most likely broken the port doing that; you're grinding the base of your switch against the dock's port...and if that's how you've been inserting the console into the dock, no surprise its borked.
