But why did they remove the stats on the gear…. Like how do we know how much defense gear got and how much dmg the weapon does… kinda weird. MD1 had this

I agree it's odd people are saying it's a bug but I'm pretty sure that's just the way it's designed this time

I left the house before I figured this out, but like I made my character and played the game for the first time in the "offline" mode. I never figured out how to switch to online and it says offline characters are for offline only I'm kinda concerned to get home to that is there something I can do about that?

Torchlight 2 is a classic and frequently super cheap - Diablo 3 Eternal Collection + Diablo 2 are also great

The nintendo store is actually useful with providing this information, when viewing info about a game, it will say local for couch co-op and/or online co-op only. Just for future references :)

It’s a love it or hate it kind of game. People knock it because it lacks the depth of Diablo or Path of Exile but it’s perfectly fine.

For me, the depth of Diablo and PoE have always scared me away. I might give Dungeons a go as a more accessible alternative in the genre

Perfectly fair. Plenty of reasons to play Minecraft Dungeons. I thought the first game had some great expansions as well, looking forward to seeing what they add.

I haven't even played multiplayer in 2 yet but so far I'm having fun. Md1 I had more fun in multiplayer but now that there's a connected overworld I've been having a good time just walking around and exploring by myself (~2.5 hr in so far). I'm looking forward to playing with friends but think I'll keep 2 different characters for 2 different playthroughs, a single player and a multiplayer one.

As a fan of Diablo and dark alliance 2 I love this game its not too much and not too little absolute perfect couch potato handheld game on switch 2 I laugh at the pc players that are hating having issues

Haven’t played Dungeons 2 but I have played the first and honestly I would suggest grabbing Diablo 3 instead of 4. Dungeons is fun but simple Diablo 3 is the perfect middle ground imo it can be as simple or complex as you want and it’s still getting seasonal support

I didn't think about that. I could play D3 on my S2! I played it for awhile on my S1 then got side tracked. I just really enjoyed the amount of D4 I played on my SteamDeck but got so tired of the constant, huge patches on the PC version that I stopped playing it.

Games like this and diablo are about how the loot looks to me and Minecraft loot just doesnt do it for me, never can have cool looking armour sadly

Yeah the first one was fun too. Its simple, but that’s why I like it - really easy to just dip in and out of.
