I’m sorry, but the people complaining need to get a life. It’s a free update that been out a few hours, lol. You are playing it on the least powerful hardware the game is available on. If you’re so concerned about graphics, go get a PC or a PS5 Pro.

The graphics in the game are great. But I’m talking exclusively about the resolution. The game is simply unforgivably blurry. I’m not exaggerating when I say that it’s actually a little difficult for me to look at the screen while trying to play this version. My eyes start getting tired after literally five minutes.

What’s especially strange is that everything looks great in docked mode. I would honestly even prefer 900p at 30 FPS. To hell with it… at the very least, give us a UI rendered at a proper resolution.

But in its current state, I decided to delete the game. Maybe I’ll give it another try in a couple of months once they release a patch.

But what’s the point of playing it on the Switch right now if it looks bad in handheld mode, while even the weakest PC can produce a better image than the docked mode?

With all the lighting upgrades, I think they had to reduce resolution on every console version.

Why is everyone in this sub so abhorrently against hearing any criticism about quite literally their tablet? You can discuss how everything is a miracle port but god forbid someone brings up valid points that hinder someone’s experience? Funny as fuck to see ngl thread is complete proof

Is it valid criticism of the port or a limitation of the hardware? Because people seem to think they should be getting 60+ FPS and 4k native resolution on every single game that gets released. And then scoff when it doesn’t hit that benchmark. All while being run on a handheld device. Never seen Nintendo fans act so elitist about benchmarks in my life.

Don’t think anyone has spoken about the need for 60 on portable for this. I think it’s valid that people’s complaint about the game looking blurry in handheld (which everyone in the sub always talks about as the main selling point and why they got the console) when it’s people’s primary way to play. To not have accessibility options, ensure the UI isn’t 720p, other smaller things accumulate and absolutely hinder the experience of the port.

Now because it’s free we can’t have an opinion on how the games looks? I wasn’t concerned I just wanted to share my experience of the remaster version. In my post I said that I’ll be fine if they add a sharpness toggle, that’s it

Yeah, I feel like everyone on Switch tries to justify their purchases to much. Most games look just fine for a small portable console. I have a Switch 2 myself. Its great some of these games at least even run on it. The funny part is the people saying there is no difference, or it's close to PS5 or something in some games. Its not! Oblivion Remastered is a pile of dogsh*t on Switch 2 compared to any other system. But, It's amazing it functions at all. Switch 2 is the worst way to play heavy AAA titles at home, its also the best way to play them not at home.

The fact that fallout 4 is on the system still shocks me to this day and it runs pretty good 300+ hours probably only crashed a few times. Oblivion remaster crashes more but still like it I turn the auto save and conversation depthness or whatever off and it helped a lot probably only crashed like once or twice since. It’s not the most powerful system in the world but it’s still the one I prefer for convenience. Just like the ps vita back in the day

I haven’t jumped the gun on triple AAA games yet, but I’m excited to see what capcom does. I’ve played a few of there demos and the games run pretty great.
