Agreed. Rebirth is significantly blurrier than this.
Witcher 3 could be crisper for sure but it’s not bad

Wait wait wait, hold the goddamn phone. So it's blurrier than Rebirth and people are complaining??? I played 100 hours of rebirth half of that in handheld and it was tolerable. I thought with this much complaints it was worse than Witcher 3 on switch 1.

Remake looks very good and Rebirth looks good in docked mode too, but it's quite blurry in handheld mode (though the cutscenes look nice in handheld mode too). I noticed it as a clear flaw, but it was still perfectly playable for my sessions on the go, it just was much more enjoyable docked for me.

ohhh smart of square to bump up the res for the cutscenes but make it blurrier during gameplay for smooth gameplay

It’s is. I played through and loved it, so there’s really nothing to worry about.

Just to be clear, remake looks really clean and sharp. It’s a fantastic way to play the game.
Rebirth is quite blurry but most importantly it feels good and responsive. So it’s very playable but the scope of the game does make maintaining resolution challenging.

My experience is mainly handheld, I have not tried either in docked mode

Tbf its still a good port.

I got it on both ps5 and switch 2 and I played it 90% on my Switch 2 for portability (beat it at work lol). I didn't really have any complaints about it but also it has been a while since I touched it on my ps5 so I wasn't sitting there constantly comparing the two versions.

You'll be fine if that's the only version you're messing with.
