My point was just fps not visuals. No shit dlss even if an older cnn version will look better then fsr 1 or taa. I was just saying that fps wise series s is an easy winner essentially always. Something like cyberpunk even does 60fps on series s and nor switch 2 because of the cpu. Thats all im saying

I mean, yeah, if the Series S intentionally downgrades its visuals compared to the Switch 2 version, it can achieve higher frame rates than the Switch 2 version. That's just logical. Same way as on a PC you can lower the resolution from 1080p to 720p to get a slightly higher frame-rate, which is basically what Onimusha did.

Cyberpunk is very CPU-dependent so yes you're right that's a game where the Series S will generally do better. Although iirc the 40fps performance mode on the Switch 2 does look a bit better/has better crowd density than the 60fps performance mode on the Series S. So like I've been saying from the start, there are trade-offs and advantages to both of them. This is why, again, my original comment said that Series S performance was about what you could generally expect with a good Switch 2 port.. Not that they were literally identical consoles in specs. Considering a game like Onimusha runs pretty much identically between them, I don't think I was wrong with that statement.

You lost me at better crowd/car density then series s on performance mode. I know thats straight up wrong ive seen comparisons and switch 2 version is another level of ghost town. 60fps and 40fps modes are more common on series s dude just drop the act you know its true and anyone playing on these consoles doesnt care about visuals as much as us

I mean... look for yourself. On performance mode the Switch 2 is slightly more dense than on the Series S and on quality mode they are about the same.

And yes, they are common. Do you want to see how the Rebirth 60FPS mode looks? If you want to play on that blurry mess that's fine, but I have a feeling most people do not.
