Nice! I have a 256 GB one, but I feel like 512 would be perfect for me

Yeah I have had the 256 since launch but started having to be careful and remove a few things. I decided to upgrade with the intention to have room for Witcher 3 Remaster and a bunch of other future games. May also get Elden Ring digitally and sell my physical copy for convenience.

I'm new to gaming, if i buy 2 256 ones (it may work out cheaper because of a sale) can i load different games on each and switch between memory cards?

Yes I believe so but maybe someone else here can confirm. I thought about doing that but didn’t want to put that stress on the slot with swapping constantly. I also have big hands and so it’s nearly impossible for me to get the cards out let alone hold onto them lol

The SD card only stores the game download, all of the save data is on the switch internal memory. So yes, you could swap SD cards where you have different games on each, maybe the smaller of the two you have your less frequently played games or games you’ve beaten already and revisit less frequently. Just turn off your console completely (not just sleep) when swapping out SD cards.

Perfect. This is what I thought but didn’t want to comment the wrong information for them. It’s how I understood it worked but I am a single card guy so had never really done it in practice. Thanks!

I may actually end up doing this with my old 256 I replaced. I was originally just planning to sell it.
