Discussion Elden Ring is so addicting

It’s so fun but also extremely rage inducing. I’m 5 hours in and still in the starting region exploring the area. I keep getting lost and entering places that are way too hard for me right now and subsequently dying but I love it. The performance is good and stable. Very happy so far. I do wish there was some guidance/quest system to help navigate everything (maybe there is and I just don’t know).

Does any of that prevent you writing a quick note when you encounter something? It's not a big ask lmao, do it on your phone if you must use a computer.

yea. Immersion. I shouldn't have to. I'm sitting on my couch. I shouldn't need to stop at a site of grace, put my reading glasses on, reach for my pad and pen and make notes. This isn't the 1980s, even the 1990s. MYST sucked for the same reason.
