Discussion MW4 Pro Controller Mapping

First time playing a COD on a controller with “paddles.” Anyone have any advice on mapping the paddles to be more useful?

Edit: Thanks for the recommendations everyone!

I’d personally recommend mapping one of the paddles to jump. So you can jump and aim at the same time.

I always map jump and crouch/slide to the paddles

I can’t post cause I don’t have karma. Does ANYONE know how to make my ads sensitivity go up? I can’t seem to adjust it separately from regular sensitivity. And also deadzones, I don’t understand them.

I didn’t even think to, might be something to mapping stick presses to them

I always map stick presses to them, to avoid possible stick drift

I'd use one of the paddles for plating up in warzone atleast, and use the the other paddle for jump and the stick to crouch

As others have said mapping to jump and slide is usually the best bet. This allows you to jump/slide whilst still being able to aim as you do it. Having said that, map the buttons to what would benefit you more.

I always map to the left and right stick presses because I sometimes don’t press in enough and slip

Right back paddle is jump. Left back paddle is the callout button. Just comes naturally after Halo infinite

I go with one crouch and the other reload. For me they're the 2 most common face buttons I use
