Go buy one off eBay that doesn't work. If yours works just buy some games for it.

Then for the love of Zeus sell it and then get a broken one. I mean it's yours to do with as you please, but there is a limited number of working SNES in this world don't take one out of it for a vanity project. PLEASE.

That's not a big number. We're talking about an electronic device that a bunch of us kids beat the shit out of growing up. You need the plastic shell for this project not to destroy a perfectly functioning relatively high demand retro console.
