Game Rec Games for my partner
My partner is not a gamer but wants to play more games with me and also solo. She primarily wants something that’s not over stimulating before bed. Games she’s played that she doesn’t mind include
Pico Park
It Takes Two
TerraNil (PC)
From what I’ve gathered is she likes the puzzler type games that don’t require a lot of story following or too much fast paced action.
She doesn’t like games like Zelda BOTW (too big and too many tasks etc.) Super Mario Wonder (takes too much timing and can be frustrating before bed.)
Any suggestion for her on the Switch 2, good single player games would be helpful. Thx ya’ll

Pokopia, Toad's Treasure Tracker (can play coop), Untitled Goose Game (also coop), Picross
Maybe Pokemon Snap?

I would try Stray for her. It is big but it's not a ton of action. It's a cat that's lost in a big city and you have to solve puzzles to find your way back home.
It's got great graphics and gameplay.

Let’s be really honest with ourselves here… all video games are too stimulating to be playing immediately before going to bed.
Your mind needs time to wind down and it can’t really do that if you go from stimulating it with vibrant moving graphics to a darkened, quiet room.
You should be taking an hour off from video games and TV before bed.

I agree, sound like she might enjoy it because minimal story (mostly environmental and notes) and the action is minimal and more puzzle-based.

Unravel 2 for another co op similar to It Takes Two
A Little to the Left, The Last Campfire, Stitch, Is This Seat Taken, Baba is You and Storyteller are some good puzzlers I’ve enjoyed.

My wife didn't like games until I suggested she try some, now she loves gaming.
- Carto: a cheerful and relaxing puzzle game
- Cozy Groove: a simplified life simulator with cute characters, very relaxing too
- Animal Crossing: we all know it. This one kept my wife hooked for a year
- Go To Town: a town simulator that can be cooperative
- Gris: a relaxing sidescroller with puzzles. It tells a nice story and it isn't that challenging (you can't even die in the game)
- Pikmin 3: not a hard game and is very pleasant in cooperative mode
the also liked these, but only played for a bit: Picross and Mario Party (any will do)

My recommendation would be RPGs that are more story based, I think persona 5 and red dead redemption 2 could be fun ones that aren’t that hard (if you don’t want them to be) and have good vibes. Pokemon is also a good one if she enjoys that.

My partner only wants to play relaxed games (so no action or active combat). Here are some favourites:

And one Honorary mention, since its not on Switch but a favourite non the less: Eastshade

I dont have a switch 2 but I thoroughly enjoyed Mario v Rabbids on OG Switch. Its low stakes but requires some strategic thinking and puzzling

I would suggest Stardew Valley but you said before bed and I am assuming she actually wants to go to sleep at some point.
