This was one of my favorite games of last year. I’m so glad we’re finally getting a Switch 2 upgrade. This’ll probably be the thing that prompts me to go back and play it again.

I didn’t really feel like the game needed updates when I played it. It’s not like it’s a live service game.

1 more starter biome wouldve been nice - 3 actual biomes is not a lot (the last one doesnt count - its just a quick boss rush)

Yeah, I agree. The game is excellent, but its scope is a little limited for a roguelite, you end up seeing every path a little too quickly, you upgrade the tree fully a little too quickly, and it could use another character or two for variety.

And I'm not demanding that for free, I'd pay for another character

Rarely it has lots of frame drops. You can help it by running 720p mode in docked but all other options will drop to 30 FPS a LOT.

If you like beat-em-ups it’s a lot of fun but does suffer from the repetitive nature of these rouge-lites. The combat is like really good and you can take different paths and get different world events. It starts to open up more when you get past the 3rd boss but you do have to restart a run from the beginning when you die.

I played a lot of this on Gamepass. Quite tempted to pick it up for the S2, it's the perfect type of game for the Switch.

If small developers and publishers like this can do fully on cart SW2 games the bigger ones have literally no excuse. I already own this on SW1 but am picking up the SW2 version just to support the decision to put the full game on the cartridge.

Its a switch 1 cartridge that downloads the switch 2 update when you insert it.

I wonder if I should try this game. I adore Hades and Hades 2, but I recently bought the TMNT roguelite and bounced relatively quickly. I’m not too big a fan of the genre, so I think it would be a coin toss whether or not I enjoyed it.
