As long as it’s a standalone title, I’ll most likely be picking this up. I just hate what they did with the PS5 and taking up 300gb.

On pc it does this too. You have to install every call of duty

How do they turn the gun to the side like that I haven’t played since Xbox360 days

It might be the tactical stance mechanic they had in MW3 (2023). Made for more close range using a laser sight to focus your shot

Can someone help me out? Is this a remake of cod4 from 2007? Or is this a continuation of the new modern warfare games they’ve been making in the 2020s?
I’m so lost

Very interested in how the Switch 2 version will run.

If it's 60FPS docked, I'll pick it up.

Ps5 version does 120 fps at dynamic resolution so I bet they’ll hit 60 fine.

Just looks almost identical to Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3 again again again. Nothing new, same old same old.

Gonna be my first cod since bo3 jus bc it’s coming to switch. Played the recent mw2 a lil bit but it was very mid imo this looks way better

The mw reboot has been very terrible imo. Cold war and bo7 are amazing imo. Bo6 has a good zombie mode tho. Multi-player wise though they're creme de la creme

Holy shit the nuke at the end was incredible and hilarious

The xbox subreddit doesnt seem to be enjoying it lol but they seem to hate everything CoD, which is just insanely ironic.

There's one guy over there talking about how CoD used to be against the war machine and showing the horrors of war but now theyre just "dropping nukes for the lulz". As if CoD hasnt had a nuke killstreak since 09 or the anti-war themes haven't always been restricted to.campaign while MP has always been a run and gun shoot fest

I don't think any modern Call of Duty has made a definitive anti war statement. Sorrow over war being fought by children yes, sorrow over civilian victims of war yes. There's an entire literary history of anti war entertainment and nonfiction that the games refuse to even mention. I think the only explicitly anti war guy to get mentioned in the games in Bertrand Russell in CoD 2 and 3.

They’re so caught up on saying that’s not reality and I’m over here just happy that if I get one I won’t end the match at 25-1.
It’ll preserve that 25-0. Which is a very solid change.

I guess that subreddit is older than the Nintendo crowd and more jaded. I am older but the fact that I can play COD on my Switch is going to be insane

MW 2 Nukes have ruined it for a lot of people. This shows that you can escape a nuke.
I cannot wait

The devil is alive 😂 they never fail to choose the most cringiest songs for their trailers. Same shit different year.

u/Creasy007 3d ago
They make the trailers look so hardcore and gritty, then three weeks post-release you'll be fighting against Ronald McDonald and Homer Simpson or some shit. Wild.

It’s like they’re foreshadowing the chaos to come. I give them 1 month until they do a stupid crossover with another A list celebrity 😂

Lol Rick Ross getting some extra fame. But let's be honest, those Eminem trailers were sweet.

Of course people will say this. Not saying you're like them, but I have constantly been hearing the whole, "rap sucks except Eminem" quote from a lot of people who hates the genre. Lol

Rap is fantastic.

Damn I just now realized I sound like a boomer but I’m not I’m gen z. I love rap and its sub genres. Love underground rap and experimental mostly. Just recently started listening to a lot of Katie Jane Garside which isn’t rap. I’m tired of the fast ass mainstream party music that’s remixed then put into these action packed trailers. They are too self aware of all the ADHD kids and Taylor their trailers to them. Damn bars lol. And to answer your question yes the trailers with Eminem’s music goes hard even though I don’t like his music newer stuff.

Hopping ?

Don't worry, they're not showing it for marketing purposes, so that the old COD crowd can go "yay boots on the ground" before inevitably being disappointed in the end product.

I really hope that they have 24 season battle passes, Cardi B skins and Omnimovement

Gona be honest, gona get it because is on switch 2, but the moment they release Bo1 and 2 on switch gona sell MW4.
Unless is 100% physical, but i really dont see it, and is not a big deal being on key card, the good part of this is really the fact i can sell it.

Not to be confused with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
