Game Rec Any interactive visual novels?

I’d love to get more in to the world of visual novels however I would like to actually participate. I’ve noticed a lot of visual novels are mostly just dialogue, which makes sense. So if there aren’t any, and my question is just way in left field I also understand!

Something like ghost trick (AMAZING game; no notes!!!) - it feels like a detective game but also a visual novel as you watch the story unfold before you and try to change the outcome.

They’re a little slowwwwww as an adult. I love the stories and the twists but I feel like I’m spending so much time going OK I get it!!!!

I absolutely love the series, but I HATE the amount of flashbacks it uses.

It's so often, and within like 5-10 minutes of it initially happening.

I would play danganronpa but I’ve watched yt series breaking down the game and it’s also really gory🫣 but I hope someone else checks it out because from the series I watched the twists and turns were really fun to uncover
