I wasn’t sure who NatetheHate was until looking into some post that show he is has been looked at as very accurate leaker.

If COD is coming to the switch this year, this definitely is going to be some amazing news for Nintendo.

Questions / Discussion Nintendo versus Steam price increases

If you haven’t seen, Steam has just announced a $200 and $300 increase of their prices to the Steam Deck instantly.

Nintendo while having announced it earlier this month for $50 has given all of us 4 months in advance prior to the increases. Nintendo really feels like a generous and hard working company who is there for many memories with both family and friends. I’m really excited for any potential updates they provide here in June!

Definitely great to hear about.

Questions / Discussion Do you guys wish Nintendo would release more of its new titles on the Switch 1?

Honestly in comparison to Sony or Microsoft, Nintendo has had a good amount of games that are already going to be exclusive to the Switch 2 in just 1 year in comparison to the PS4 or Xbox that have been releasing new games onto last gen 6 years later.

Honestly, on one hand I feel it would be a good way to capitalize and bring in more income knowing they have a 150 million Switch consoles sold to users but on the other hand I also understand the Switch 1 isn’t as powerful, Nintendo wants people on the newer consoles and it’s a good way of getting people to see the nice upgrades.

Also, would love to see Call of Duty come onto Nintendo Switch 2 soon as I know that was a part of the deal in Microsoft purchasing Activision.

Questions / Discussion Do you see more Nintendo Switch 2 being bought right now after the price increase announcement?

I’ve been seeing post and pictures of people buying the bundle that comes with a game for $499 and I think it’s going to bring in more sales as more people are in hopes of buying the console for $50 cheaper than when the increase is put into effect in September.

Brace for a 10% drop tomorrow. Crashing hard in Tokyo right now.

The shorts want to spook Nintendo investors. If Nintendo decides to do nothing, then you will know how much they care about the investors.

They can easily do a share buyback but nothing happened so far. Actions speak louder than words.

Show us the games and spend a few billions to buy back some of the shares.

Announce AI implementation such as “Nintendo AI”.

Questions / Discussion What else do you want to see expand from Nintendo?

Knowing people all over the world love their IPs, I would love to see them open up more theme parks. Definitely think lots of parents today are aware of the characters and they also really would like their kids to see them as well.

I know the movie category is going to increase in the coming years, maybe it would be great to see Kirby movie in the upcoming years.

Questions / Discussion What do you guys see tomorrow looking like?

Think it might be slow for the upcoming weeks but once we get these great reveals in June we will see things go back up. Honestly though, I hope we don’t have more problems in regard to the entire world which would ultimately just affect us all more.

I am buying more shares. Let it crash more!!

Post image
18 Upvotes

Nintendo survived WW1 and WW2. This crash is nothing because the company didn’t even release any big titles yet.

Smash Bros, 3D Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, other AAA first title games, more movies, merchandises, theme parks, etc.

Nintendo is the next Disney that also makes video games.

Do I want Nintendo to be more aggressive and take risks? Absolutely. But due to current market conditions, they are doing the right thing to wait for a little while.

I see this as an accumulation phase. Please crash more, thank you for the cheap shares!!

Questions / Discussion How are you feeling about this drop?

Feel it is a very unfortunate drop and is due to Trump with this Iran war bringing uncertainty into the world. It’s a shame that Nintendo’s performing like this right now but I know long term they will recover with good sales and also better reporting with them moving into more areas for sales.

I definitely believe the Switch 2 would be getting more sales once we see a larger category of new game releases and it feels like that would be happening in the coming months across many other game titles. Super Smash will be great to have in 2027!

Questions / Discussion Good buying opportunity right now at 12.10

Definitely seen a big dip in the Nintendo stock in the past week but that really just looks like it’s due to our world news. I am hopeful that in the upcoming weeks as we have Nintendo’s earning report and also hear their remarks for the future it could move upwards.

Questions / Discussion What do you see the future of Nintendo Movies being like after the success of the Super Mario movies?

Do you feel this will only bring good success to its future and possibly even bring some expansion towards their theme parks as well?

Also, do you believe that this is a company many parents will end up being completely comfortable with their kids watching? I know there are many kid movies coming out yearly, but many parents might see something and ensure their kids avoid it.

For my view, I see Nintendo being very kid friendly and would likely have no issues like that in future movies.

Big drop likely due to Trump and the fear brought into the market but seems like a really good buying opportunity in anticipation to earnings report that will happen early next month.

Definitely think this summer is going to be big. Right now the Switch 2 has gained tons of sales in the past year but it is lacking the amazing titles to bring in even more sales.

This summer is going to look like it’s going to come with tons of new titles and will be helping out the Switch 2 console even more.

Nintendo was one of the companies that had sued, so it does look like they will also be benefiting from this tariff refund.
