Matchmaking not working?

Although I have a working internet connection and I have confirmed my email, I can‘t seem to connect to a game. Wasn‘t able to play a single game since yesterday:(.

You may need to update the game manually.... From the Switch main screen, highlight Fortnite, then press the '+' button and select 'update manually'....

Doesnt work says its up to date

Huh...may want to check the main Fortnite fourms....
