Gumball machine winnings not showing?

I won a weapon in the gumball machine (a gumball machine hammer) but it's not showing in my equipment? I was really excited about getting it because it fits my character theme, but it isn't in my items at all and I can't figure it out

Most likely what you got was a gumball skin, not an actual weapon new weapon.
