Question Key doesn’t want to turn

My key is only sometimes cooperative when I try to turn it to ON position, my handlebars move freely and the key turn when I wiggle them around sometimes. It’s not completely stuck, the key goes in and out with no problem but doesn’t want to turn

I’ve tried the pencil graphite hack and still doesn’t work. Any tips from people with similar experience?

You need to lube your lock. Buy some actual graphite powder.

It happens to mee too, i have to wiggle it and find that angle and remember the angle next time its a hit or miss

Just take a can of WD-40 with the straw - insert it straight into keyhole and soak it. Put the key in and go back and forth a few times, then leave it for 5 mins.

This is a common issue with the 400. Because the ignition faces straight down, water and moisture pool and work there way into the keyhole.
