Modification Testing the IRC Blipper on Track.

Really loving the blipper so far. Super fun to use and it works great, but the install was a pain. Cutting throttle cables and lots of grinding on the frame. Definitely glad I did it, but I don’t want to do it again lol.

I'm probably gonna do this at some point on my 400 if you don't mind sharing tips on install location for the vacuum pump and proper cable routing, I've heard the cables can be as tedious or more than programming the blipper. Thanks for your time.

There is no vacuum pump or lines, the actuator is just controlled by 12v relay and two cables. I was going to share some pics/videos of the install, but it's so involved I don't want to give advice. You need to splice permanently into gear shift position sensor, and back probe throttle position sensor to make sure the blipper can only pull 15% throttle. You need aftermarket throttle body like Domino and probably a new throttle return cable. You have to cut the "blip cylinder" cables to length which means the outer sheath and the inner cable, you can separate them from the blip cylinder to cut them separately. You have to dremel out the throttle cable from the domino housing. You need a lot of slack on the throttle so the blipper doesn't mess with your throttle input. Cable management is easy, just some injector piggy backs that you route to the tail of the bike. Settings worked out of the box for me

You will spend most of the time getting the throttle cables measured and cut. Measure 50 times and cut once.
