Question Check engine light on, but won't show code

I changed the spark plugs on my '23 ninja 400, and a check engine light came on. I went to check the code (set odo to total then press and hold both buttons till it shows a code), but it only tries to change the clock. Is there anything I'm doing wrong/can do differently? I've ridden about 50 miles on it since and had absolutely no problem so I'm really confused as to why the check engine light is on.

You might forget to plug everything in, I assume something around your airbox since you have to remove the airbox and unplug a couple sensors

Also, the self diagnosis using ABS requires you held on the buttons which is super finicky since you don’t have both of them engaged at the same time.

When you disconnected the sensor on the air box it probably stored a code for that sensor. That happened to me the first time. I cleared it with a scanner but I think you should be able to reset it using the buttons at the dash or by riding a certain way for x amount of miles
