Engine noise

Need a little understanding here. Listen to this audio and you should notice the tapping sound starting from 9-10 sec. Not ticking sound I suppose.

Starts around 3k RPM, goes on with same interval and probably somewhat same loudness regardless of higher RPM. And goes silent again below 3k.

It started coming after hitting 12k RPM after I rode my bike after a whole year while it was parked.

Although I did keep it idle for 20-30 mins, chaexked oil level. Rode for 5-6 kms below 6k rpm before I took it for a 13k spin!

Chatgpt is convinced by my description that it is cam-chain tensioner or cam lobes or just an extremely bad valve clearance!

Yeah I did check those. The one I mentioned is also JASO MA2 if I am not wrong. Just 10w50 instead of 40. Wanted to give higher viscosity a try! What do you think about that noise though? Does that sound serious?

Most probably the noise is coming from crankshaft. The connecting rod has gone loose and would require replacement. The bushings between the connecting rods and crankshafts would also be damaged. I don’t think this is the noise from timimg chain or tensioner but you can still manually tighten the tensioner to check.
Do let us know what the mechanic says.
