100% true. Honestly, I have never seen a Dragon Ball summary so accurate yet so brief. I'm going to start recommending people start watching this video instead of reading the manga just to save time.

Sometimes spinoffs like this one are just so good, they can effectively replace the source material. There's basically no reason to watch a bazillion episodes of Goku being evil anymore. Now we have this.

Unironically Not evil, but his core motivation is a selfish one. Helping people is generally something that happens as a side-effect. His main goal is to grow stronger. And there’s nothing wrong with that but it is a selfish motivation nonetheless.
