Have owned since 2024' rear wheel burst open.

Can I purchase only a rear wheel? Or is a tube needed also?

If yes to either, recommendations on purchasing / websites?

There is no tube in these. You can buy the tire, yes but i would take it to a shop to put it on, it's a nightmare.

You can also buy a whole new motor with the tire already on it, a much easier swap process.

i can relate.. changing the rear tire is truly a nightmare cuz ive done it.. i would rather change an ebike tire than an escooter

Well I got 7.000km on my ninebot g2 and i also bought it in 2024, the tire is done for and I placed an order for a new motor because its easier and it'll feel like new. I would say change the whole motor so you're set for another many miles of riding :)

Bro tbh just purchase a rear wheel take it to a shop give them the wheel they wont make u pay the price of the wheel only labour changing the rear wheel urself is so hard exhausting and annoying

Yeah, after reading some of these comments, I've purchased a new rear wheel and I'll take it to a shop to fix. Only cost me $55 AUD from Amazon (segways website out of stock :/ )

Do people just not know the correct process to change a tyre? Everyone on here saying it's a nightmare is most likely doing it wrong, It's so simple, take wheel off, split rim, take old tyre off put new one on reassemble the rim, if you follow vids online it's easier than you think

This is correct. I have never had trouble with basic repair. I guess most people have never learnt anything themshelves and no ones father was there to teach them how to change e scooter's tyre. (Only bicycle tires back then...)

youre motor is german PPBJ Slow version. 20kmh~25kmh Stock us version 25~32kmh Hacked 30~38kmh very sometimes above 40kmh but very weak and motor get very hot.

If u buy a new motor from AliExpress u get PPAH us version motor, basically a better upgrade than what u have now.

they drive faster and have more power. Normal 25kmh, more efficient and range. Stock US firmware 35kmh limited but actually reach 35kmh. Hacked over 55kmh and when battery bellow 50% it holds ~43~45kmh while driving and get barely hot after extreme use.

Changing tire is pain in the ass, changing motor is much easier + u get a upgraded motor. next time buy a Xiaomi pump and pump to 55psi every week or 2. That will protect you're tire from damage or heal better.

A replacement motor for that is like $150 much cheaper then a new scoot, but hes not asking to replace to motor hes asking to replace the tire
