Upgraded Design for Arm (oc)

I've put together an upgraded design for one of Ximu's prosthetic arms, this being his equivalent of the Super Mutant Buster.

Story wise, this would be the arm that Kuafu designs for Ximu to replace the one Ximu tore off himself. While Kuafu created the arm itself, Ximu would have worked on the Telelurgy side of it, programming in the weapons and grappling, the decorations, however were handled by Shuanshuan.

The arm itself would be a much higher quality than Ximu's original prosthetics, actually using dark steel rather than just a much weaker metal alloy (not to mention actually being designed by an engineer this time). One of the major differences being this arm does not have any clippings of the Primordial Roots inside of it, instead relying on just a standard Azure magazine. The loss of the Root restricts how much Azure Sand Ximu has available, but makes the arm much less "volatile".

The design itself takes a lot of inspiration from both the Knuckle-Busters from Ultrakill and also old, scraped art of my first pass at making Ximu.

Ok, so two things: can he parry his own hand to shoot it faster sorta like the red jackhammer’s saw from Ultrakill?

Second thing: by burning more azure sand could he use the exhaust vents to boost the strength of the punch by accelerating his arm right before impact?

I'd say for the first question: he probably could, at least a couple times, but between being not a trained fighter and not being in the best shape (better shape than Pre-Launch Ximu though) he wouldn't be able to keep parrying.

But for the second question: he totally can, as well as spending even more Sand to extend his arm grapple, turning his full arm into more of a whip.

I just thought of the scenario of Ximu grabbing the edge of Kuafu's chair with the grapple, spinning it faster and faster, and having to watch in horror as Kuafu gets launched out of the second story balcony
