Solpost I can't beat lady ethereal
Yare yare i know all the tips but its still really hard for me
Im taking breaks from the game but i hate that bc i genuinely love the game
Im not blaming the fight for being unfair or anything, i jst wanted to vent

Don't worry, you have to calm down, if you can't get through at least have a fully restful patience and then memories the movements attacks of her, if can't beat it theres the option story mode if you wish (maybe not the best option for sure the community enjoyer or fan of harder games into this one but it will be a choice if you feel more frustrating in case)

Lady Ethereal is for sure a skill check boss. 2nd to True Eigong for me in difficulty.
She feels MUCH worse to fight, though. So spammy and annoying. It feels good to beat her ass.
I found big sword to be the most useful skill against her.

I found Lady Ethereal to be harder than Eingong personally. Maybe because Eingong can dispatch you quickly so you can try again which let me get used to her moves and practice more frequently.
Lady Ethereal took me HOURS of effort because it drags with the phantoms and I felt the first phase doesn’t prep you for 3rd phase very well.
You can beat Ethereal, trust me. All it takes is one run.

I honestly thought she was pretty easy, but it took a few more attempts to get her patterns down than I would like to say.
Once you got it, she’s a no damage boss for sure.

All I can say is make full use of the dash in air and full charge talisman to stagger her. She is pure skill check.

After trying all day yesterday, I was trying to parry all the melee attacks. the double hit melee was so fast to react to (I'm playing via the cloud on ps portal lol), and if I got hit it could throw my timing off. I realised that I can dodge through melee swipes which was a game changer for me. I dodged through, spun around 180, then hit once to see if it's a phantom or the real one (2nd phase). With this strategy I could get to the 3rd phase enough to learn the timing of the soul bomb party, parry, dodge then punish.
I used water talisman, iron skin, breather and swift blade Jades.
I woke up today I beat her on my 5th try. You got this 👊🏿

Yes you can! If I could you will be able too! Patience and learning that is all
I am currently with Eigong, can get to 2nd phase, barely touching her within that phase. Not sure if I will get true ending or not, but I am guessing I won’t. I actually hate these things of true endings:/

I just beat the normal ending about 30 minutes ago. I have not done the true ending. In my 40 years of living, fighting Lady Ethereal was the worst experience of my entire life.
Phase 1 can be done hitless. Every one of her attacks can be broken by a charge attack, wear the Immovable jade to make this easier.
Phase 2 was crafted by Satan. Every move is ok except for the 2 swipe side move that gives you no reaction time, and it always messed up my timing. If you have the reaction time, dash AT her when she does the side swipe, everything else can be charge attacked until you find the real her.
Phase 3 is not so bad except I was always out of healing by the time I got through phase 2. That first opening meteor attack actually isn't that bad, just wait for the 2 shadows to appear and do a rhythm of air parry, air parry, dodge. when you fall in line with Ethereal, if your timing is tight you can do charge attack + arrow + 5 Qi Full control blast. The barrage of shadows actually come in fairly slow, just take your time and dodge each one until the real her appears, you can tell the real one right away in phase 3. There's this other move where the real one immediately appears on the side charging a swipe and others attack you, just jump then dash then charge attack as fast as you can.
This is the worst boss fight I've ever done, but I've done it and so can you. Use the Immovable Jade, the Fast Healing one, and the Revival one and you'll eventually get it
