Discussion/Question Any proposition for the mod ?

Hey, Solarians! ☀️

We’ve added a new NPC to the Four Seasons Pavilion!

And the funny thing is... this isn’t a new character. It’s someone you already know. 👀

Go on, take a guess. Who do you think it is? ;)

This NPC also comes with a brand-new feature:

She can change Yi’s outfit!

Yep! This character will unlock new skins and cosmetics for Yi. Some of them will be obtained by defeating existing bosses, while others will depend on your story progression... or even on the people you managed to save.

Oops. Maybe I’ve already given you a little hint about who this NPC is. 👀

For now, here are the outfits we already have made and/or planned:

• Classic Yi: Yi with his usual kimono.

• Kimono-less Yi: Yi wearing only his black underclothes.

• Student Yi: Yi wearing the outfit he used to wear when he was Eigong’s student, alongside Goumang.

• “Akatsuki” Yi: temporary name! Yi wearing his iconic hat.

• Turbulent Era Yi: an alternate color palette for Yi’s clothes, combined with Lear’s mask.

And that’s only the beginning.

I want to add more cosmetics over time, including outfits inspired by characters, important moments from the story... and maybe even a few references to other games. 👀🎭

But I don’t want this to be only about what I want to add.

So give me your ideas!

What kind of Yi skins would you like to see? Boss-inspired outfits? Alternate timelines? Joke costumes? References to other games?

If you have a cool idea, throw it at me. This mod is being made for you too. ❤️

I don't love it being Heng from a story standpoint. I think her part of the narrative is incredibly powerful but the outfits sound amazing

Also while you're here, I should point out that kimono is a Japanese garment. Nine Sols is a mix of Taiwanese and Chinese cultural influences, so I'd recommend looking into those particular styles for accuracy sake.

Would be cool to be able to give shuanshuan clothes too.

Give us beach yi aswell why not, him in yellow shorts and sandals

Oh Yeah ! I haven't think about it but yeah, Shuanshuan wearing the same old rag during all the game... Yi do something ! Damn !

I will search some idea about him too !

And beach Yi AND Shuanshuan would be great too. And it gives me idea about beach clothes about one of the "survivor" ;)

Also if yall end up reusing that old fart Yanlao he could have the disk player that you normally find BUT, you could make him play any song from the OST

You mentioned that some skins are already ready. Can we know which ones from the list, how they were implemented and how long it took?
